Nana Yaa Boatemaa Arthur was born in Koforidua in the Eastern part of Ghana.
Ms. Arthur received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Brigham Young University Hawaii in 2000. She also has a master of Science Degree in Non-Profit Management from Northeastern University Massachusetts, USA.
Ms. Arthur has worked in the educational field for most of her career, which spans more than 15 years, She has worked as an admission representative for Strayer University and Westwood College, both in Virginia USA.
Ms. Arthur currently works as a financial aid specialist at Northern Virginia Community College, where she assist students in realizing their educational goals in obtaining financial aid to College.
